About the Program
As part of the 2021 National Defense Authorization Act, on January 1, 2021, the U.S. Government enacted the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA). With certain exceptions, the CTA applies to all U.S. corporations, LLCs and similar entities as well as foreign entities registering to do business in the U.S. Reporting entities will soon be required to submit a report (and update as applicable) to the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) detailing certain personal information of each beneficial owner and applicant.
