Original Seminar Course Length: 2.0 Hours. Ethics
The panelists will review the Rules of Professional Conduct with special focus on attorney’s fees, conflicts of interest, representation of multiple parties, and dealing with unrepresented parties. In addition, the rules and statutes concerning the Unauthorized Practice of Law will be addressed. The speakers will review the governor’s executive orders regarding the virtual execution of real estate documents and the order eliminating the witness requirements as well as the instances of abuse of said orders and lenders’ refusal to accept acknowledgements in compliance with the executive order. Tools of the trade including an examination of the purchase and sales agreement and what title insurance covers will also be addressed.
